Enzymes are essential for healthy digestion. If they are missing, food is not properly adapted and valuable nutrients are lost. Incomplete digestion also often leads to flatulence and other digestive problems.
Pro Enzyme is a multi-enzyme complex with 17 vegetarian enzymes that balance your digestion, get more nutrients from your meals and relieve discomfort from undigested food. The enzyme phytase, which is also included, neutralises mineral-binding phytic acids from plant foods, further improving your nutrient absorption.
Acid-stable vegetarian enzymes ‒ already active in the stomach!
Pro Enzyme contains exclusively vegetarian enzymes, including bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya. In contrast to animal enzymes, the vegetarian enzymes have the advantage that they can also cope with high levels of acidity and actively begin digestion already in the stomach.
With six proteases ‒ protein thoroughly broken down
A protein-rich diet has many benefits. However, if you eat too much protein, your body can no longer keep up with the production of protein-degrading enzymes. The protein-degrading putrefactive bacteria in your intestine are particularly happy about this and thank you for their favourite food with flatulent gases, ammonia and other liver-damaging substances.
Pro Enzyme supports your protein digestion with six different protein-splitting enzymes (proteases). Of course, the two power enzymes bromelain and papain from pineapple and papaya are also included. The selected proteases unfold their effect in different pH ranges and thus ensure efficient protein digestion in the entire gastrointestinal tract.
For the sensitive intestine: enzymes for dietary fibre and lactose
Dietary fibres are extremely healthy, but sometimes too much of a good thing for a sensitive or inexperienced intestine. Especially the change to a high-fibre diet often brings with it digestive problems.
Pro Enzyme contains the enzymes alpha-galactosidase, cellulase, hemicellulase and pectinase. They break down dietary fibres that the body itself cannot break down enzymatically and make them easier to digest. In addition, the enzyme lactase helps to utilise the milk sugar lactose from food.
Without beta-glucanase
Beta-glucans from oats and barley are particularly valuable and generally very well-tolerated dietary fibres with proven positive effects on cholesterol and blood sugar. In order not to deprive you of their benefits, we deliberately avoid the beta-glucanase used in many enzyme preparations.
