At the heart of Pro Leber Plus is a harmoniously balanced combination of milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, goldenrod, gotu kola, blueberry, coriander and bamboo – plants that have been highly valued in traditional herbal medicine for centuries and have been carefully selected by our in-house scientific team.
Milk thistle and artichoke are among the classics of European botany. Milk thistle contains the secondary plant substance silymarin, while artichoke provides the bitter substance cynarin.2 Dandelion and goldenrod are rich in bitter compounds, flavonoids and saponins and are among the best-known native herbs that have a wide range of uses.3
The formula is supplemented by blueberries, gotu kola, coriander and bamboo. Blueberries provide natural anthocyanins, gotu kola is firmly established in Asian herbal medicine, coriander contains aromatic essential oils such as linalool, and bamboo contributes silicon.
Choline for liver function and selenium for cell protection
The liver is a central organ of the body and is particularly responsible for internal cleansing and fat metabolism. It needs certain micronutrients to function optimally. In addition to the eight proven plant extracts, Pro Leber Plus also contains choline, which contributes to healthy liver function and supports normal fat metabolism. This leads to greater ease and regeneration.
The formula is rounded off with N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) and glycine. Cysteine and glycine are building blocks of the body's own glutathione, which is found in all cells, including the liver. In addition, selenium helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.4
