Strength, structure & protection: vegan protein supports
Proteins are vital building blocks of the body. They consist of amino acids, some of which are essential, i.e. they must be obtained from food. Proteins perform numerous functions in the body: they are the main components of muscles, skin, hair and nails and play a central role in the formation and repair of tissue. They are also involved in many biological processes – as enzymes, hormones or as antibodies of the immune system.
The transport of oxygen (e.g. with the help of haemoglobin) and nutrients is also made possible by special proteins. A lack of protein can lead to muscle weakness, growth disorders and a weakened immune system. Good sources of protein are meat, fish and eggs as well as vegan protein sources such as pulses and nuts. And to ensure that the proteins are better digested, we have added spore probiotics directly to Pro Protein Vegan for even better digestibility.
