100 % natural D-ribose: Our Pro Ribose consists of 100 % D-ribose, which is obtained from glucose (of plant origin) by means of bacterial fermentation. Ribose is, among other things, an elementary component of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
D-ribose is a building block of ATP
Ribose is a simple sugar molecule (pentose) that is found in all living cells. It is particularly abundant in the heart, muscles, brain and liver.
Ribose is found in various compounds within cells:
- It is a building block of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
- It is found in DNA, the genetic material of our cells.
- It is a component of coenzymes of energy metabolism: NAD⁺, NADP⁺ and FAD.
The body can produce ribose independently from glucose. However, the amount of ribose present can be supported by the targeted administration of D-ribose.

- RECOMMENDED INTAKE: It is recommended to take 2 x 2.5 g of powder (2.5 g corresponds to approx. 1 level measuring spoon) stirred into 200 ml of cold or warm drinks or food every day. It should be taken with a meal.

Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep out of the reach of children. The tin contains a measuring spoon and a dry bag (not suitable for consumption).
