Shilajit, also known as mumijo ‒ one of the most nutrient-rich substances on earth: Shilajit has been used in the Ayurvedic tradition for centuries. Shilajit is a mineral resin, a compressed substance from the rock with an extraordinary amount of nutrients.
What is included in Shilajit?
Shilajit is rich in beneficial fulvic acid (at least 50 percent) and also provides urolithin A and B and a variety of valuable mineral compounds and trace elements that occur naturally in the body and are also required. Triterpenes, amino acids, vegetable waxes and polyphenols are other known ingredients of shilajit.
Particularly noteworthy is the high fulvic acid content of at least 50 % in our shilajit product. It also contains a high content of humic acids – standardized to 12 %.
Overall, shilajit forms a unique complex. Shilajit has been valued in Ayurveda for centuries.
How Shilajit is made
Shilajit and Mumijo sites are located at least 1,000 metres above sea level. It is believed that shilajit is formed by various milky sap-forming plants being compacted by the weight of the mountains for decades. In this way, the plant parts develop into a mineral-rich, humus-like substance that provides us with a wide range of valuable mineral compounds, trace elements and other substances.
