To benefit from their various positive effects in the intestine, the consumed bacteria have to stay alive while passing the stomach and reach the intestine in high numbers. Pro Basan therefore contains selected resistant bacteria strains with a high bacterial count and ensures their safe journey into the intestine in several ways:

- Mixing in water
- Vegetable dietary fibres

Stabilising powder matrix
The freeze-dried bacteria are contained in a protective matrix of rice starch and maltodextrin, which makes them particularly stable and durable until they are rehydrated.
Additional advantage: Pro Basan does not need to be kept in the refrigerator and is therefore ideal if you are on the go.
Revitalising water instead of "acid shock"
Simply stir into water and wait for ten minutes before drinking. Unlike with tablets or capsules, the bacteria contained are rehydrated before they are taken and become metabolically active again – so they are much more likely to resist stomach and bile acid. In liquid form, they also pass through the stomach very quickly and are only minimally exposed to the stomach acid
Good food for good bacteria already included
Pro Basan contains the plant fibres inulin and oligofructose which help the bacteria to stay strong and well-nourished on their way to the intestine.
Pro Basan does not contain any histamine-producing bacteria strains and is therefore well tolerated, even in cases of histamine intolerance.
What is the difference between Pro Basan Complete and Pro Basan?
Pro Basan Complete is enriched with vitamin B.
Pro Basan is a pure probiotic without vitamin B. The basis of these products is otherwise exactly the same.

- RECOMMENDED INTAKE: It is recommended to take 2 g of powder daily (equivalent to approx. 1 slightly heaped measuring spoon or teaspoon) in sufficient liquid, in the evening before going to bed or in the morning at least half an hour before breakfast. Allow the powder to swell for 10 minutes before drinking. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
