The high pH value leads to strong polar activity, resulting in rapid absorption and mild regulation of the acid-base balance.
Influence of foods on the acid-base balance
With our food, we take in nutrients every day that form either acids or bases in the metabolism. Our western diet usually produces more acids than bases, so that the body can get out of acid-base balance. Especially pasta, animal products, but also vegetable proteins overacidify our body in the long run. In addition, an unhealthy lifestyle such as increased consumption of coffee, alcohol, nicotine or soft drinks can contribute to acidosis.
To restore the natural balance
Minerals are alkaline and have a positive effect on our body; e.g. magnesium promotes electrolyte balance and zinc supports a normal acid-base balance. Without sufficient mineral intake, however, and a continued acid load, the release of minerals from the bones occurs. Indeed, the body's primary goal is to maintain a constant pH level in the blood, which is essential for life. In the long term, this can lead to mineral deficiency.
Pro Base combines the minerals potassium, calcium and magnesium in special carbonate compounds as well as zinc to create a high alkaline pH value and restore a healthy acid-base balance.
No detox without bases
If the body is permanently overacidified, it cannot detoxify sufficiently. If the body's buffering capacities are exhausted and the blood pH shifts towards acidity, the transport of nutrients and oxygen as well as the activity of enzymes is impaired.
