Live micro-organisms specially grown in TISSO's colon farms
Thanks to its high lactic acid bacteria content, Pro Em San PUR is one of the best probiotic preparations in Europe. The live microorganisms can actively protect themselves from stomach acid.
Optimal ratio of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli:
Lactobacilli
Lactobacilli - which, like bifidobacteria, are lactic acid bacteria - are primarily responsible for producing lactic acid, which contributes to a healthy gut environment and protects the gut from harmful bacteria.
In order to keep the gut stocked with good bacteria and the gut flora in balance over the long term, you should regularly consume probiotic foods, which naturally contain many good microorganisms.
Bifidobacteria
The name bifidobacteria is derived from the Latin term "bifidus", which means "split or branched" and refers to their shape. By producing lactic acid, these bacteria can also protect us from germs. They are also responsible for the production of essential enzymes and vitamins and are therefore particularly important for our health. Especially in newborns, bifidobacteria play an important role in the immune system, as they make up approximately 90% of the gut flora.
A good probiotic contains at least one billion micro-organisms (109 CFU = colony forming units) in one daily dose and contains as many bacterial strains as possible. Multi-species probiotics achieve significantly better results than products containing only one or a few cultures.
To achieve a broad spectrum of efficacy, lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in particular should be represented by several substrains and several species of Lactococcus, Enterococcus or Streptococcus. Liquid probiotics with fermented plants and medicinal herbs also provide polyphenols, which are additionally beneficial for gut bacteria.
What is the difference between Pro Em San and Pro Em San PUR?
Pro Em San also contains 24 types of herbal extracts.
Pro Em San PUR are pure probiotics. The PUR form is suitable for those who have, for example, an intolerance to one of the herbs or are more sensitive to them.
The live bacteria content in terms of number of strains and quantity is the same for both products.
